What motivates you to advance the mission at California Competes?

Having spent most of my life in California and attending its public schools, improving California’s higher education system for current and future generations is very personal to me. I believe that educational opportunity is the key to eliminating virtually all social inequities. I feel lucky to be able to focus my career on an issue that is so critical to my family, community, and home state.
