At the Association for Education Finance and Policy (AEFP)’s annual conference, “Fifty Years of Education Finance & Policy: Taking Stock and Looking Ahead,” California Competes Senior Researcher Laura Bernhard led two sessions:
- “Empowering Comebackers: Leveraging Policy and Finance to Help Adult Learners Return to Complete College,” a presentation that featured our research on adult learners, including students who paused their college journeys and reenrolled; and
- “Reworking Academic Probation to Promote Student Success in Higher Education,” a flash talk on our academic probation work.
