On January 19, 2021 California Competes will present our research on credit for prior learning to the California State University Chancellor's General Education Advisory Committee (GEAC). This committee consists of intersegmental and academic senate representation, and advises the Chancellor on general education policies and practices.

California Competes has released two publications on credit for prior learning: Credit for Prior Learning: Leveraging Past Learning to Close Present-Day Equity Gaps and Side by Side: Comparing Credit for Prior Learning and Competency-Based Education.
