[Webinar Recording] Can Anything Be Done About Rising College Costs?

Discussion Focused on Three Theories Behind the Rising Costs of College
College affordability has been a major issue for student access and success, and California has been focused on significant reforms to student financial aid. Last week, California Competes hosted a virtual brown bag session to explore the other side of the college affordability equation–the cost of college. Will Doyle, PhD, Professor of Higher Education, Vanderbilt University shares his insights on what’s known, what’s theorized, and what can be done about it.
Higher education advocates, partners, and legislative staff joined the conversation to discuss opportunities for collaboration to move the needle on this issue. The recording and slides are now available on California Compete’s website below.
