Jen Liberty she/her

Student Researcher

Jennifer Liberty is currently a student at Sacramento State majoring in psychology, set to graduate in spring 2023. She plans to continue on to graduate school, where she will pursue a MA in Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling.

She has served as a Peer Assisted Study Session peer in the Tutoring center at Sierra College for four years. As a member of the Tutor Center Leadership Cohort, she conceptualized, created, implemented and ran the mentorship program for oncoming tutors. She went on to present her program at the 2022 annual Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning Assistance Conference.

At Sacramento State, she served as an Instructional Student Assistant within the psychology department. She is passionate about creating equity within the adult learner college experience, as an adult learner herself. She is excited to be part of the CaliforniaAttain! research team analyzing ways to re-engage students who previously stopped out of college.
