Steven Koblik served as the 7th president of the Huntington Library from 2001-2016. Prior to the Huntington, Mr. Koblik served as President of Reed College for nearly a decade. In 1989, he was named dean of the faculty of Scripps College, after teaching for several years as professor of history at Pomona College and the Claremont Graduate School. He holds a bachelor’s from UC Berkeley, a master’s in international relations from the University of Stockholm, and a PhD from Northwestern University in Modern European history.
