Welcoming Dr. Daniel Gross to Our Board
We are excited to welcome Dr. Daniel Gross to the California Competes Board of Directors. With a distinguished career primarily at Sharp Healthcare, a $5 billion not-for-profit healthcare system in San Diego, Dr. Gross rose through the ranks from clinical nurse to CEO of the Sharp Metropolitan Medical Campus to the health system’s Executive Vice President. His extensive healthcare expertise will guide and support our efforts to streamline career pathways and modernize workforce development within this critical sector. We look forward to working with him, leveraging his knowledge to bolster employer engagement in higher education across California.

Last Friday, California Competes CEO Su Jin Jez was one of three recipients recognized with Stanford Graduate School of Education’s highest honor, the Alumni Excellence in Education Award.
