Keely Bosler

Founder and Principal, Keely MB Strategies; and former Chief Fiscal Advisor and Director of Finance, state of California

Keely Martin Bosler is a state finance expert with over two decades of experience working at the highest levels of California state government. Most recently, she served as Governor Gavin Newsom’s Director of Finance and the state’s first Chief Fiscal Advisor, overseeing the development and negotiation of the $300 billion California state budget. She previously served Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. as Cabinet Secretary and in his Department of Finance. She also spent nearly a decade in the State Legislature, leading and advising across all budget and policy areas.

Keely is currently the founder and principal of Keely MB Strategies, where she provides strategic planning, policy proposal development, and issue advocacy management services. She also volunteers as a board member for the Golden 1 Credit Union and is a gubernatorial appointee to the Central Valley Flood Protection Board.

Keely is a graduate of California State University, Chico, and Cornell University.
