What motivates you to advance California Competes’s mission?

“As a California native, a parent, and a longtime education equity advocate, I believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their educational goals and build a fulfilling future. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how much those opportunities depend on the systems of support surrounding students and families. I’m motivated by the opportunity to help advance a higher education system that is more equitable and accessible, and that enables Californians to create better futures for themselves and their families.”
